The tee shot is played downhill toward a sloping fairway that often funnels balls into the rough. Once you reach your ball, the journey to the green is still long — and often made in view of the spectators watching from the cliffs. The green, guarded by several bunkers, can be tricky to read, especially after such a demanding physical effort.
